Hello, Cynthia Lissette . first of all, thank you for taking some time for this interview! Can you introduce yourself to those who don't know you?
My parents were born in Puertorico and then moved to Brooklyn, Ny where they had me. I was always surrounded by music and loved the way it made me feel and act, one reason was because i didnt speak english but i could learn an english song so quickly and not know what it ment but around people when i sang they sure thought i knew what i was saying. So, music helped me alot with that. We then moved to MD/DC/VA area where everything was so different from home that all i did was write and listen to music, rather than walk a million miles to the nearest playground and store. But as time went on i met alot of producers in the area who helped me so much to record, write and arrange music so well. I've recorded so many songs since then and have been doing shows in and out the area. I am still currently recording songs for my upcoming project.
Who influenced you? And who were your idols?
The people who influenced me the most coming up were Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder / but now i have to say Brandy and Christina Aquilera they are so motivational to me.
When will your first album be released and what can we here on it?
(N/A) Im definitley coming through with a new sound. I'm Latin so a lil bit of that latin flavor and also i love rythm and blues so its going to have soulfulness to it. Combine all that together and you have me Cynthia Lissette!
Who will produce your album? And what kind of guests are on it?
As of now, im not sure what producers will be picked for the album. And as far as guest i have my eye on 2 particular ones. (Dont wanna say it yet, just incase it doesnt happen).
Do you know which single will be the first?
We wont know until the album is complete.
Will your album released worldwide or only in the USA?
Worldwide baby!!!
What are your goals for this year?
Complete a hot album that i will be happy with and get it to everyone out there.
What are you doing in your leisure time? And what are your hobbies?
I'm recording, having show rehersahls, workin out in the gym, doing photoshoots, and basically preparing myself. One of my biggest hobbies would be listening to music while im driving in the car and writing to them at the same time. I know its not safe but theres nothing like listening to a track for the first time and writing your heart out to it with the windows down swerving.
What does look a typical day in your life?
A typical day for me still consist of recording and having writing sessions, then answering a million phone calls and hanging out with my sister.
How does a perfect date look like?
A perfect date huh?, well a perfect date to me would have to be with someone who is totally just being themself and can just make me laugh, smile and feel comfortable being around them. Last time i went on a date was uhh back in 1823, lol nah it just seems that long ago, but all he wanted to do was talk about my music how he was this and that, He was KILLING ME. Lol
